Our history & milestones

IVCC was established in 2005 with a mission to develop innovative vector control solutions to combat insecticide resistance and prevent disease transmission. With initial funding from the Gates Foundation, we have spent nearly two decades forging global partnerships across industry, academia, and the public sector. Together, we’ve accelerated the journey from innovation to impact—saving lives and shaping the future of vector control.
