David Worrall

David provides advice and support to the IVCC team on all matters with a legal, contract or intellectual property element. This includes advice on the various contracts which IVCC manages as a successful product development partnership. He is also the interface to specialist external legal support, and support from the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine contracts and other teams as required. David studied law in Leicester, UK and Modena, Italy and has an LLB(EC) and LLM in European and International Trade Law. He has broad commercial and contract law experience and is qualified as a solicitor with international law firm DLA Piper, where he specialised in commercial, IP and IT matters. David has worked as an in-house lawyer where his experience has become broader still. For the last 10 years he worked at Manchester Metropolitan University, most recently as Deputy Head of Legal, with periods as Acting Head.
